The complete bill of materials for the construction is explained in this section:

The following materials are readily available in any home improvement supermarket with a plumbing section. The metal rods, can be made of copper  or any other  conductive material, however in this project aluminium rods have been used because of their good conductive properties. Once the antenna was built, a female connector, PL 259, was  used to connect the antenna output with the receptor. Regarding the connections, a strip board was used to ensure a better connection between both parts and  to fasten the rods correctly. The list of materials can be seen in table xx  below:
