h1. The Microbox and Mecanical test
Our tests began with something simple: is the foam of the upper part of the suitcase exerting enough pressure to hold every device in place ?
Putting the suitcase vertically was not sufficient to get anything to move, and neither were two 15 mins walk through the campus, while carrying the suitcase by hand.
Nothing moved with this, but we did not make any shock resistance test.
Also, we can clearly assess the ECCS class of "portable", since we can carry the box by hand without too much effort.
Our test shown that the guinea pig can stay in the "light sweat zone" if carrying the microbox over about 800m under sunny weather.
Something important is also to test if every connector has enough space in front of it to allow something to be plugged on it.
Those test revealed nothing worrying, except that at first, the SD card of the raspi was very difficult to remove an to put back in.
This is no longer the case, because (we'll see that in the next section) we needed to change the IP phone. As the new phone has a different shape, it did liberate an access to the SD card.
The only drawback is that it reduced the space to put the main power cable in.
