Conclusion

All along this project, we had to face difficulties raised by the application constraints, and particularly the range of the video link. Indeed, most of our interlocutors were quite pessimistic about the regulatory feasability of such a long range link, especially in an urban area like Toulouse surrounding.

The frequency band research was not an easy task to perform, and as we could learn, regulatory aspects are long and complex processes. We couldn't conclude on the frequency research because unlike we thought, the ANFR needs some input to allocate a frequency band to a user. The work should start with available RF and electronic equipments adapted to the system, and open on a frequency allocation.

According to the information we could get from UAV industrials, aeronautical experts, and with the help of our supervisors, we had some range for the system parameters and they allowed us to perform theoritical simulation for the feasability of such an application. If the results were quite encouraging with a simple AWGN channel, there are some other parameters to take into account. Indeed, in our simulation, multipaths or phase noise effects were not considered though it can hugely affects PSK modulation and increase the bit error rate (BER).
