Request for frequency allocation¶
The request for frequency band allocation must specify:
- the emitter operation range, EIRP and position (altitude of aircraft, coverage zone)
- the requiered bandwidth
- the period of operation for the radiocommunication link
With these information, the ANFR will perform a propagation study at limit of coverage (3000 m altitude, 50 km), and analyze the impact on the other users for this air/ground link, but from their sayings, such a high range is difficult to obtain in terms of regulatory aspects.
Then, if the system is validated by the ANFR, a specific sub-band will be allocated for our application during a given period, with a maximum emission power authorized for our equipment. Of course, the user must pay for the transmission rights during the period of allocation.
