Suggestion of equipment¶
Regarding of the discussion we had with Mr PIZZOL (at a late stage of the project), the methodology leading to a frequency allocation is the following :
- define system characteristics: EIRP, bandwidth, modulation
- find equipment adapted to the system requirements
- find in the TNRBF frequency bands corresponding to the equipment operation range
As we said before, the aircraft antenna is not considered in our project, though we know its constraints: this study has to be performed by RF experts, with the relevant interference study.
However, we can propose some ground antennas that fullfil the application mission statement.

- Modulator/Demodulator :
SMP is a company based in Toulouse, specialized in the manufacturing of TM/TC and data transmission equipment.
The main advantage is that they can provide "turnkey" modems: the modem is directly tuned to the wanted modulation.
