Suggestion of equipment

Regarding of the discussion we had with Mr PIZZOL (at a late stage of the project), the methodology leading to a frequency allocation is the following :

  1. define system characteristics: EIRP, bandwidth, modulation
  2. find equipment adapted to the system requirements
  3. find in the TNRBF frequency bands corresponding to the equipment operation range

As we said before, the aircraft antenna is not considered in our project, though we know its constraints: this study has to be performed by RF experts, with the relevant interference study.

However, we can propose some ground antennas that fullfil the application mission statement.

  • Modulator/Demodulator :

SMP is a company based in Toulouse, specialized in the manufacturing of TM/TC and data transmission equipment.
The main advantage is that they can provide "turnkey" modems: the modem is directly tuned to the wanted modulation.
