C Description of the Components

Component : Mikrotik RB2011U series

Type : Router

Role : The primary purpose of the router is to provide a local area network to connect the components. Next the router will furnish a quality of service in order to differentiate the prior packets as VOIP from packets will low priority. In addition the router will establish a firewall to secure the network.

Component : Intel NUC D54250WYK

Type : Mini PC

Role : A VOIP server will be install on the mini PC to provide external and internal phone call. The mini PC will have an internet access through the router and will be positioned in the same local network than the hardphone to proceed the phone calls.

Component : IP-DECT Server 400

Type : Dect

Role : The dect provide a bridge between the local area network and the hardphones. It can establish internal calls between gigatsets.

Component : PoE1500S Adaptater

Type : Power over ethernet

Role : The PoE deliver both data and electrical power to the dect.

Component : Gigaset R630 H PRO

Type : Hardphone

Role : The gigaset provide phone call to the user. It will be connected to IP-DECT.

Component : Eaton 5P650

Type : Uninterruptible Power Supplier

Role : The primary purpose of the UPS is supplied with power all the devices. It protect also the components from the varaition of the input power in filtering it. It can provide 74 minutes of batterie.

Component : SKB flight case

Type : Ruggedized flight case

Role : The primary purpose of the ruggedized flight case is to obtain a transportable terminal. It will contain all the equipements except the mobile antenna.

Component : Kit Antenna KA-SAT Fly Away

Type : Antenna with its feeder and its modem

Role : The Kit Antenna KA-SAT Fly Away provides the internet access point through the satellite. The antenna aims to the satellite and tramsmits and receives the signal from the satellite. The feeder will convert the electric signal into an electromagnetic wave. The modem modulates and demodulates the signal in both way digital to analog and analog to digital.
