Conclusion¶

In this report we introduced our works of project 3. First we reviewed the Voyager 1 mission, then analysed the Downlink situation. Then we studied the principle of coding about Manchester, Golay and Reed-Solomon coding. Also, we used LabVIEW to simulate all the coding channel with BER getting the performance. Finally, we proposed a solution to Voyager 1 Down link, which is the cascade coding proposal. Of course we also mentioned the problem if we want to became the proposal as a project realization.
